Is it a guideline for posts per thread or posts on SI? I think this is my twentieth post on SI in the last 6 hours.

Tim

So you're saying that you're "above" SI rules? Didn't your least-favorite president make the same argument in front of a grand jury and the American people?

JLA = Bill Clinton in terms of bending the rules.

Re: "I was told it was only a general guideline and that unless you are not adding to the discussion or was (sic) consistently posting off topic, you don't have much to worry about."

Once again you have twisted the truth. Because that's not what the Terms of Use statement says. To quote it:

"The following actions, among others, may result in removal of messages and/or termination of your membership."

"(g) Posting improper or off-topic messages or posting more than twenty messages in six hours."

"... OR posting more than twenty messages in six hours."

There is no discussion of content in what follows the "OR." You're limited to 20 messages per six hours. Period.
