Some of the best performers + side have been the mortgage REITs because of the yeld curve spread. Even after the Fed stops cutting rates, these types of companies have both increasing book and dividends for several quarters. Most of the poorly run overleveraged ones are gone. + FNM might just be too big to fail. I guess I think that there are easier old ladies to roll, LOL.
