Cary, I have been careful not to comment on the quality of expectations. They are as varied as individual investors are. Re >Doesn't it seem that expectations mean tomorrow will look better than any yesterday, including bubble yesterdays.< I don't see that here on SI any more. Even the optimists only expect slow growth after the decline is arrested. Maybe you're thinking of Morgan's "orders all at once" quote? He didn't say how big the orders will be.:) Gottfried
