Are you suggesting that the Catholic Church in the Philippines does not use blackmail, manipulation, and bribery to build its political influence? They do, all the time. As you suggested, I did some looking for information on this to educate myself. I found none. Perhaps you can educate us here by pointing us to credible (or, for a start, any, since I found none) sources which would validate these serious charges of extensive illegal activities on the part of the Church? You are obviously not a Catholic, and therefore choose to remain in a smallish minority of the population (which, according to the CIA Factbook, represents 83% of the population. Perhaps you are suffering from minority inferiority syndrome, assuming that the majority must resort to bribery, blackmail, etc. to hold their position of power and influence since if they didn't your obviously much more intelligent beliefs would shine through and prevail on their merits. Of course, there is a possibility that the majority here may be in the right. Naw; since you don't think so, of course it can't be true. Anyhow, I await your production of proof of your charges.
