Lenny, your fill-in-the-blanks model there is quite good, i didn't mean to put it down in any way, it's just that in development stages the whole thing is a game of perception imho ... the speckies are all startup promotions, invariably ... like they used to say on the VSE, 'it's the Kiss of Death to turn a profit' [people would start expecting another next week, and looking into p/e ratios and all that boring stuff, and get turned off completely] That Altman model thread, interesting - Razorbak and Alistair McIntosh posting there, two posters who have imho earned considerable respect around the threads ... i'll check it out Good time for a holiday, August ... they say France shuts down entirely for the month ... in New Zealand they're roaring now, deep of winter for them, workaday life ... never try to do business there between early December and late January - they call it the Great Kiwi Shutdown ... and it is great .... i just can't get interested in much for another couple of weeks, summer trading is meaningless imho, it's too thin to count .... late in the month maybe a person can discern trends in some things .... gold could move in Sept - remember '99? ... maybe this year we could have a Washington Disagreement, that would be in keeping with the times, and a more honest depiction of human nature, imho ..... well, The Tiny Perfect Chiapaneca got her driver's license yesterday, so guess who else is in for some long drives ... you pray for me, i'll pray for you, and Saint Bacchus will take care of us both ... cháu
