The Prophet

Why? Do you think the average consumer wants to buy a product which seems controversal?

Hager Story

Several weeks ago, I called Jim Rockwell and we discussed a number of things concerning the
recently issued patents and there have been a number of them lately. We discussed the trial and
speculated about what was going through Payne's mind and what might be the outcome. It was
apparent in my chat that Jim was working on something that really excited him. He gave me some
vague hints about the possibility of a big new market. I thought he was talking about a DDR
improvement or related issue as that was in my mind from another source I have been in contact with.
Anyway, some time went on, and I didn't hear from Jim for a while. I knew that meant he was very
involved in something. With his article posted today, and a very fine report coming from Bill Teel, it
looks like the Hager guys are on the right track. Spending three weeks with someone, you get an
idea about people; and I will guarantee you folks this: that if Jim wrote it, and Hager put it out
mid-week, there are some very strong peices of evidence that go along with it. I recall during the trial
Jim finding out that there were other Rambus patents could sue IFX on if the patents in suit were
tossed or we lost. I beleive Jim did his homework then, and continues to do it now. Bill's story was
equally as strong and was reported today by Magee. While Jim's story is speculative in nature, as
there are no confirming sources, my friends, I would go to the bank on the merits of his research, and
the thoroughness of his efforts. Bill Teel is also of equal quality.
