Chip Exports Record Deficits in June
August 3, 2001 (SEOUL) -- Exports of semiconductors were in the red during June due to a continuous fall in overseas demand.

Korea's Ministry of Information and Communications said on July 31 that overall exports in the IT sector stood at US$3.14 billion during July.

As imports tallied US$2.26 billion, a surplus of US$870 million was recorded.

However, exports of chips swung down by 51.1 percent on an annual comparison in June to record a US$47-million deficit for the first time this year.

The MIC added that overall exports during the first half of the year, excluding the chip sector, amounted to US0$11.36 billion, while imports stood at US$6.13 billion, for a surplus of US$5.23 billion.

'I'm not a RMBS basher.' Blah, blah, blah. Don, all I have to do is read your posts to know what your agenda is. Keep your, 'I'm innocent' BS for the fools who don't know better.

Bottom line.......... You said many sales representatives will attempt to sway you away from RMBS based machines. I've been in many outlets including on the phone with Dell staff. I've talked to quite a few sales persons in that time. You are implying that there are a lot of sales staff out there that have a negative view of RMBS based PC's, for whatever unmentioned reasons. I shopped for a PC for months before buying. I went to every outlet in my area, shopped online & on the phone. I talked to numerous sales staff. I had lots of questions about the PIII & PIV, including RDRAM.

Why is it that in all of my visits, not once did sales staff attempt to sway me? Zero Don. Not even a negative comment about RMBS INC., RMBS based PC's, or even RDRAM. Zip, nada, ZERO Don.

If your statement is true, why didn't I run into even one sales rep who tried to sway me away from a RMBS based PC? I was a serious buyer who also had a real interest in RMBS based PC's. I asked a lot of RMBS based questions. What do you think are the odds of that no one tried to sway me away from RMBS based PC's Don? Either your hypothesis is all wet, or I should be playing the lottery for beating the odds so soundly.

The only reason I see for making such lame comments like that on a stock message board is to sway investor opinion. You can justify or rationalize it all you want. You are like most bashers. You people regularly cross the line of credibility with negative spin, fabricated scenarios or exaggerated hypotheses on stock message boards for a reason.

Your denials are only an attempt to maintain credibility so you can spin new scams tomorrow. You need to try harder Don. This scam didn't pass muster at all.
