Maybe, but so far he is looking good. He already has enough accomplishments on his own, he doesn't have to claim credit for everybody else's work.

Giving the oil industry the right to profit from our public lands, and paying them tax incentives to do it is a pork barrel crime not an accomplishment. I hope the Senate sobers this irresponsible sell out.

Harry, how's this....the longest running economic expansion in the history of the US.

Personally, I get a little sick of the Dems trying to take credit for something that had absolutely nothing to do with Clinton.

In my mind the so-called economic expansion was a result of the growth of the internet and technology businesses. It just happened Clinton was there when it reached its peak. This technology revolution is continuing, but it is simply occurring in waves. The first big wave is over, but as bandwidth starts to expand and security issues are addressed, another wave will follow.

To attribute the ecomonic expansion to Clinton sort overlooks the fact that it began before Clinton took office and ended before he left office. So how can anyone attribute the expansion to Clinton? It is evident that, had he been in office for another year this would be CLINTON's economic crisis, not Bush's, or had he taken office a year later it would have been a continuation of Bush's recovery NOT Clinton's "expansion".

Thats it. The only major accomplishment you can think of for Bill is taking credit for Alan Greenspans work?

Harry, the measure of a man's genius is when he makes everything he does appear effortless and look like the work of someone else. Greenspan, as good as he is, did not engineer that expansion alone. Clinton and Rubin were very much involved. Damn, if only Rubin was still in place, the slowdown would be over by now.

Three years, 4 mos. and counting.

Figures. Aren't you going to brag about how sexually active he was. That is one thing he did for himself.

Why? All liberals are sexually active. We f*ck like bunnies.

You Reps. will rue the day you heard the name GW Bush<<<<<<<

Maybe, but so far he is looking good.

You've been looking at R. Limbaugh's polls again.

On a side note, it was on the news that the dems will have Will Smith running for them as a representaive for Chicagos district. That would be Kennedy's nephew accused of rape 10 yrs. ago. Way to enhance your reputation dems. Now you aren't even waiting until after you are elected before you are accused of rape and sexual innuendos.

Dems tend to be more open about their flaws. I know that that makes you uncomfortable and that you prefer the political style of Nixon and Watergate; however, many of us prefer the open style of the Dems. Remember, let the first one without sin cast a stone.....are you without sin, Harry?
