Curious as to why this late-day ramp picked up steam? Some shooter walked into the QQQ pits and bought multiple six-figure size in the QQQ calls, spurring a hand-over-fist cover-fest. I'm not sure what the story is (rumor is a tech upgrade), but the pure trader in me views this flow as bearish, not bullish. Remember, during the last year, fading conventional wisdom has been a profitable endeavor, so unless we've entered a new tape, this flow isn't a good sign.
