When did we annex Japan? That's what I was wondering when Gore and Clinton released oil from the national reserve then sold it to foreign countries... As to ANWR, however, when the capacity is available it WILL reduce our dependence on foreign oil, period. So I'm not sure what Japan has to do with it. The libs have lost any sense of perspective over this issue. We're talking about drilling on something like 2000 of the worst acres in ANWR. Can you or Tejek please explain to me specifically what material harm the drilling will do to this region? The Alaskan people fully support it, it will brings needed jobs to them, so can you please tell me what it is to you? The people complaining about this are of the same ilk that caused the deaths of four firemen to save some freaking fish! This is simply being stupid.
