Rough figures I keep in mind for foreign investments are:
30% of US treasuries
20% of Bonds
10% of equities.

These moved indeed to the US at the last Japan problem. (Not only away from Japan, but from most Asian "tiger" countries. Also was the end of the Hong-Kong speculation.)
We agree, this is huge money and I don't believe Greenspan and co can sustain the strenght of the Dollar if that money decides to fare in other waters.
Swiss Francs are nice currently.
But watch also Poland and Hungary, among next countries to enter the European Union.
