From Briefing: 13:05 ET Brocade Comms (BRCD) 36.64 -1.44: Hearing trading floor talk that Brocade has been making calls in an effort to rein in some of the more bullish forecasts on the Street; company reaffirmed guidance at Wit SoundView conference on Tuesday, and talk today is that company is not guiding down, but just trying to keep estimates from getting beyond its guidance. We have no confirmation of this, and have not yet heard back from the company. Then, 13:25 ET Brocade Comms (BRCD) 36.55 -1.53: -- Update -- Spoke with Brocade investor relations, which not surprisingly refused to comment on any rumors.
