eichler and Louis, volume again

I said that I may have to re-think my opinions on the significance of volume, so I have been doing just that. My conclusion: I'm not really changing my previous way of thinking at all. I still think this rally smells funny, and the fact that on Thursday we closed over 2080 and broke the upper trendline doesn't change that thought. I wonder where all the buyers were Thursday after the trendline broke, as that should have been the moment they were waiting for. My thought is that the majority thinks it smells funny too, and that's why they're remaining on the fence.

A poster on another board noted that the high in May was accompanied by diverging declining volume, which has remained flat and drifted down ever since. Doesn't sound like the procession to a rally to me.
