I'm looking to buy stocks. Ebay is just so damned expensive so I was hoping it would go to 30 too, but I'm not daring enough to short it or buy puts. Support held on it.

15:01 ET eBay (EBAY) 63.34 +2.54 (+4.2%): -- Update -- Multiple sources telling us the that stock is being bid up on market speculation that company will raise guidance; at least, that is the talk on trading floors. First question that arises is when would company have the opportunity to raise numbers again, given that it is too early in the qtr for the traditional upside preannouncement. Traders saying the Pacific Crest e.conference, where EBAY is scheduled to present on Aug. 13.
