I didn't know but it appears we are in some kind of server contraction period coming off Y2K upgrades and large OEMs are tightening their belts. Therefore they don't have the need or guts to offer an alternative server line right now.

Maybe they wouldn't have anyway but I don't think it's a reflection in AMD that the didn't offer AMD servers from introduction. Of course it would have been better if they did. Someone will pick it up though...maybe Gateway.
