Kap it would also probably kill mobile and server market because of the cost write-off. I do understand your concern though and I am not defending soi per say since I do not have good understanding of the technology involved. I was simply saying that if there would be only a marginal benefit it could still be more cost effective to use soi. AMD is a smaller company and Jerry, I hope, understand that. So I would think that if the test would show that soi does not produce sufficient benefits then amd would be flexible enough to make some adjustments to their roadmap. Now we are looking at to very biased sources intel and ibm/amd. Neither of them should be trusted completely. Regards -Albert
