'Looming sand and gravel shortage' in California - #reply-16340208 Can't supply that as Cadre is unlikely to ship around the Horn -g-, but i wonder what they use for construction aggregate in Florida? ... place is mostly sand, isn't it .... one time in the BC gulf islands i did some clearing and dozer work for a guy with his own little island, i couldn't believe what he was paying for gravel and navvy jack ... and not just for barging it in, that was understandable, but the price of the stuff at the only place that could supply clean material and efficiently load it on a barge, that was in itself surprising ... i forget the figures, too long ago, but i was shocked
