Ted, letting them drill in the ANWR is not a subsidy. Giving them tax breaks for doing is at least in effect a subsidy.

If you are opposing the tax breaks I would probably agree with you (but I would have to look in to the details first), if you are opposing any drilling in the ANWR or any other protected area now or at any time in the future then I have to disagree with you.
