Peter OTOH, the more they delay the more of the shopping season they would miss. It would be easier to set the limit for i845 Regards -Albert

Peter, If the i845 will be launched prior to or at the same time as the 2 GHz P4, initial reviews may be made with these both together, that means with the combination of a P4 2000 and a i845 motherboard. Then the reviewers might complain about the disappointing performance and the P4 might get the image of an underperforming chip. You sly devil, you. By George, I think you've got it! Seriously though, I think they probably want the i845 delayed to clear out other inventory, or something. Pravin.
