George Bush is one or two notches north of being a slack-jawed cretinous mouth-breather, and in that way provides a comfortable proxy for those who manage American corporations.The antics of this small-brained errand boy make him a continual embarrassment, but then, what else is he good for other than laughs? Anyone who reduces the passing conflict between the 19th century and the 21st to a conflict between repugnicans and dummocrats fails to recognize that dichotomies at all levels are for the simple-minded, and may be too trapped in that paradigm to ever escape to the light of day.

Ya, and people like rush or liddy spew nothing but facts. I am always amazed how thin skinned rightwing people are. They can't take any crap whatsoever... so defensive.

Yep. Note how the response to your observation, (which was based on the fact that the crap they have relied upon was exposed as a lie) is simply more name calling, followed by an attempt to deflect the criticism by bringing the imagined evils of somebody entirely new (Liddy / Rush) into the debate. More proof that they have nothing to work with and cannot defend themselves from truth. They simply ignore the charge (false rhetoric) and launch a new attack (Rush and Liddy are liars) with no new facts to back up their claim. It will never end. The standard response of a liberal when a lie or transgression is exposed: "I know you are but what am I?" or "You are wrong because (insert Conservative target here) is a big bad meany and you are too defensive." or "The Republicans are evil, so therefore you are wrong." or "I can't hear you nah nah nah nah..." (with fingers in ears and eyes closed). or (Insert multi-lined insult with lots of big words here while completely ignoring the substance of the original charge altogether).
