Reading the article the son seems to focus on his parents for some mistreatment. That he could sue his parents and not his ex-wife and children for support is just another commentary on how bad law is in this area. It smacks of deep pockets thinking.

It's as if society is applying product liability laws to people. If you raise a child that eventually becomes what the society judges defective you must make amends. It is getting right into the heart and soul of family life and adjudicating.
