David,

Re: "So, while you may grieve over the land damage to a tract the
size of a small cattle ranch, there is plenty to be happy about..."

David, I may just have to drive my SUV up there and take a look. <ggg>

Make It So,

Well, don't let it get you down. The important thing is not the ANWR; after all, you made it clear that it isn't economically worth developing. If it isn't, then what are you worried about? No one's going to develop it, problem solved!

No development? What are you talking about? If the oil rigging goes in, there will be lots of development.

The good news here is that Bush has, once again, shown his ability to get things done.

Please....the idiot king doesn't have a clue. He needs a job when his presidency ends in 3 years, 4 mos. [and counting]. What better way than to help his friends now.

This is truly an exciting time -- after eight years of Democrat incompetence, we see a man of integrity who is focused on his agenda doing precisely what he said he would do.

Not to worry....one of those dumb Dems., I think it was Lieberman, announced yesterday that they will start a filibuster should the ANWR provision not be dropped from the bill.

Oh yeah, filibuster is when they talk and talk and talk and talk for a long time and a bill can't be brought to a vote. Its very effective in killing that bill. Those Dems. are so dumb it just makes me laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh.

Have a good one!!

Bush is VERY good...he has managed to convince people like you that giving stinking rich industries the right to mine and drill our national parks for profit and paying them back tax rebates is an accomplishment replete with integrity. Are you in the market for some "prime" land in Louisiana?
