Please Victor. How many people in this market guessed at depth of the implosion? I sold a bunch of Cisco stock last March for $76, but even I didn't guess that the high was going to be $82 and then we'd hit lows of $13 a year later. I sold to buy a new SUV since my old car sputtered and died. :) We've all made brilliant moves that had nothing to do with good forecasting. My guess is almost everyone got screwed royally by the events over the last year. Only maybe less than 1% of the people on these threads actually made money in the past year. You may claim to be one of those and who knows, it might even be true. But no one really cares. The fact is that almost no one guessed right, so how can you expect the CEOs of these companies to be any better guessers? It may piss you off that they don't have crystal balls, but that's reality for you. Also, closing the books fast tells you alot about past performance, but it doesn't tell you much about the future.
