Sarmad: The irony is that there is so much good news priced into the market -- I know this is not the common perception but I believe it to be true. An economic "recovery" is already priced into the market. Strong consumer spending is already priced into the market. The continued foreign financing of the US current account deficit and the resulting support of the dollar is already priced into the market. The market is priced for a perfect world -- a world that is showing signs of losing its remaining underpinnings -- growth outside of the US, strong consumer spending and the dollar being the three most obvious examples. The market is priced for perfection -- and perfection does not look like what we are going to get. Good luck on the upgrade cycle.
