Perth could be good. Here the US market opens at 11:30pm. But I'm an "insomniac" :) In Perth that is 9:30pm. In the other season though the open is at 1:30am but it closes at 8:00am Eastern Australian Daylight Saving Time (in Perth 10:30pm to 5am - no daylight saving there) so you can swing to looking at the market close instead - I pay more attention to the US market during the winter here (summer up there). Europe/Middle East is best probably for evening trading in NY....
