OZ,

I agree completely. After a short feeling-out period, I really like the new SuperSOES system. In many ways, it has 'leveled the playing field' between the market makers and traders. In fact, you could argue that ECN's now have an advantage that even MM's don't currently have: the ability to use reserve size without displaying a minimum of 1000 shares. I have seen this on many occasions in the past few weeks, with an ECN displaying only 100 shares, but constantly reposting more shares.

Anyway, I really like the new system and think that it will make trading much more predictable and, dare I say, less frustrating.

I've only just begun playing with SuperSOES and so far just have one compaint.

Eg. I want to bail and there is an ECN on the inside, but I want to give up a penny to hit the MM below in case someone beats me to the ECN. It seems as though my order waits until the ECN is gone, then executes with the MM. Is this how it's supposed to work?

OZ,

A couple questions, did you work up to trading 30 stocks at a time, (like starting with two or three) or did you just start with that amount?
Also, how do you exit your winning trades; do you use trailing stops, or some kind market indicator like the futures?

Thanks,

Alex
