Ah, magnanimity! Thank you. That's the word. And I'm sure that AJ will appreciate that magnanimity has a less "foreign" sound than noblesse oblige.

I've often said that I expect statesmanship from politicians, which is similar in theme. And I'd really like to see my country, the most powerful by a mile, display magnanimity in it's dealings with the rest of the world.
