"There are already signs that some sellers have grown disheartened because of increased pressure from bigger businesses hawking similar wares on eBay. Maintaining what Whitman calls a "small-town feel on a global scale" may indeed be the company's greatest task. " I believe the majority of revenue for Ebay is coming from larger businesses now. Where there is money to be made, there is competition that will spring up. The "disheartened" sellers are just crying sour grapes. The volume of goods sold on Ebay continues to increase. The pie is there and one must take their piece.
