Jeff, Writing covered call options on your stock positions would be the thing to do if you believe that the stocks are going to trend flat to slightly positive over the option period. REITS have done very well over the last year, I would bet that a lot of S&P 500 based fund managers could wish they had made the % returns that REITS have. Also many REITS have dividend reinvestment programs and optional cash purchase plans that allow you to put some additional money to work. Good Trading Dave
