just picking up on story behind dollar weakness this weak.Without any trumpeting,the u.s commerce department revised downward U.S. GDP growth 1997 thru 2000.
But the pros that study all this stuff constantly, saw it.
There lingers a creditability issue that is for sure.
The 4.5% jobless rate number is being viewed with major suspicion.
I actually wonder if the government had pre-release minus GDP report staring them in their face if they would not "burn the mid-night oil" to some how get numbers juggled to read positive.
needless to say,regards governments, i am a hard cynic.Max

CSCO on Tuesday,aj.It is in Chambers court.If Chambers raises his guidance,nothing will hold back NASD,as CSCO is the only significant corporate report this week.Speculators will be out in force Tuesday.Max
