I turned off the computer, closed the door, at least I knew where it was!! I turned the light on in the room so while we were gone it would not be flying around...except I was sorta stupid at the same time. I left the window open, I was hoping it would fly out, if it did start moving. I didn't think about the fact that it might accidently attract another bat into the house. Whew, luckY for me, it did not!! It was still in the same place when we got home (Looked in the den from outside the house, to figure that out!!!) Then we turned on a light outside, and turned off the one inside, after about 5 minutes it started swooping around in the den....(just the thought of it, gives me the shivers) It took about 10-15 minutes for it to make its way out the window. But I was too chicken, even after the kids seen it fly out the window, to go in the den and close the window. Then after it was gone, I still found myself checking out the crown moldings at the top of the rooms looking for bats.
