Pravin, Re: "Integra combination TV-Radio-Computer appliance that is said to use an AMD 1.4 Ghz Athlon processor"

Wouldn't 1.4GHz be a little overkill for an "appliance"?

From your followup post: HSN selling it now with the Athlon 1.4GHz? Well, AMD has seemed to provide the first of the new processor litters to the HSN for some reason. Off to clean the TV room.

EDIT: With ethernet and firewire? Still... wouldn't the CPU needs be pretty limited and I would think that keeping the (probably) tightly packed case cool with be a lot easier with a Duron than a 1.4GHz T-Bird. Of course, maybe the way to sell these "appliances" is to appeal to "wants" rather than "needs" WRT CPU power.
