Hi Nandine, I just read an article in the paper this morning about the shenanigans of our fine representatives in the house and senate. One of the things they mention when the new interns come in is that one guy sends an intern to another office to pick up a package. Of course the package is not ready when she gets there, so they have her wait. Then the guy in the office the intern is waiting at hands her an envelope to bring back to the other guy. Inside the envelope is a "rating" of her looks. Where does that fit in with your theory on appropriate behavior among our elected officials? Also, when you say "She entered freely and she left freely", how does a person like a Monica or Chandra leave one of these relationships freely? Chandra is probably dead and Monica said she was quite fearful about what "the big creep" might do (or have done). IMO it is relatively easy to enter a relationship freely when an extrememly powerful man leads you to believe that he digs you. If he really did it would not bother me as much (although I think adultry is pretty bad), but I am sure in many of these cases the powerful guy is leading the girl on. When the girl falls for them, then they crap on her. I don't think this should be illegal, but the whole sleazy atmosphere might be cleaned up somewhat if the people exhibiting this behavior were called on it instead of people justifying it like you and the orginaztions like NOW seem to be doing. You may think that helps women's causes, but I say it keeps the status quo going.
