Me too. I blame a lot on mad dentists filling children's teeth with badly-mixed mercury earlier last century. Lead in petrol [and everywhere else] was bad too! I suspect the Flynn Effect is related [at least in part] to the reducing toxin loads over the past 100 years. The lucky new children go straight from the mercury and lead age and stone age, without passing through any of them, to the New Paradigm. Lucky swine!! China is full of them.

I hadn't thought of the gold ratios as you pointed out. It occurred to me that the important ratio was money:productive value.
