No choice -- that's all the land there is. Your comments show a lack of awareness about how small Israel really is -- south of Tel Aviv it's only ten miles from the Green Line to the sea. Of course Israel has staged preemptive attacks when armies have gathered on its borders. If it waited to be invaded it would have been divided in half and conquered.

My best wishes and regards to your family from the small town of Ak-Su. I have been spending time in Kashgar and Urumchi! Too many Han Chinese and not enough Ughurs!
