I think the main reason IBM has hung in there (price wise) is that it is a grandmother kind of company. Nothing fancy and loved by safe fund managers. They buy it on every dip. It will only go way down IF the entire market gives way. If it can hang in here above 100-105, for another 2 months, it likely will continue up as the rate cuts finally kick in. I do think management is very smart and has used buy backs to mask slowing growth.
personally it is a snooze stock to me and has little up or down potential. Steve D.

re:One stop shopping for all your IT needs and on a scale that only IBM can provide.

also, how about one stop financing for your IT needs on a scale that only IBM can provide?

Further, it seems as though the elephant has not only learned to dance, but has become surprisingly graceful and agile at it. The IBM has been gaining market share in a number of sectors from a number of "smaller, but more responsive ot the marketplace" competitors.

And how about the timing of the sale of IBM's telecom Division?
