You're absolutely right, it's called leadership, setting an example and it begins at home and can't be taught at school.

I suggest you do more reading in the neurological aspects of choice and decision making before repeating your opinion a third -- or woudl it be a fourth? -- time. It's difficult for me to discuss the issue with somebody who doesn't know the basic vocabulary.

You still have yet to address the main point of the posts, which is that whether you call it choice or decision, whether the brain is sufficiently developed or not, the issue of whether or not a given 17 year old will have sex is in fact ultimately resolved by the 17 year old, not by parents or the state.

Hi, Steven. You have expressed your frustration before about lack of feedback so I just thought I'd acknowledge your question and confirm that you are communicating your point well and clearly. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to answer your question, since I don't think there is one, but if anyone thinks that there is, I'd sure like to hear it, too.
