I'm sorry but I don't remember. I read it at Barnes & Noble and only had passing interest. It is in the Abe Ableson colum (or whatever) who always is bearish. Thus I take it all with a grain of salt. I don't take his writings seriously. I just noted he is trying to talk down IBM with the others big tech stocks. He was not so specific, just alluded to things he has said in the past about IBM. He basically says they will likely get found out this time around (ie. slowing sales will have to show up) but then he ends with the possibility that they may fake everyone else out somehow, again.... I don't know what Barrons said, but I came across this article that talks about how accounting games take place. This one is specifically about IBM. Interesting reading.knc
