I find one thing amusing: if I accused any other player in Philippine politics, including the
US Government, of bribery, manipulation, or blackmail, you would accept the accusation at
face value and assume that it was true.

How totally absurd, and cynical. Can you point to a single post where I have done that? I didn't think so, since it doesn't exist.

As you suggested, I looked at the web site of pcij. I found nothing about the church on it. There is a sort of "greatest hits" summary on that page, but none of the stories mentioned the church, so apparently they don't think it's a major issue, or they haven't done a story they're particularly proud of. I tried to go to the anti-corruption page, figuring that would be the most likely place to find what you say is happening, but that link was broken. I went to the investigative articles page, but nothing on that page was about the church either. I selected the On Women option, since you had mentioned an article on that, but that link, too, was broken.

Their book page lists various books alleging or proving (naturally I haven't read the books) various aspects of corruption and abuses of power. There is one, presumably what you were referring to, titled "Women on Brackets: A Chronicle of Vatican Power and Control." However, there is no discussion there, at least of blackmail, bribery, or other nefarious charges you made. Power and control can be exercised in a lot of ways, both honorable and dishonorable. There is no book on "Church corruption" or anything like that.

Given the number of books and articles they have published on other aspects of corruption in the Phillipines, one would think that if the church were as bad as you claim it is, they would have published something on it. The silence, while not proving anything, is indicative of the potential absence of a serious problem of blackmail, bribery, or corruption.

So far, the charges you made are not sustained or supported by any evidence you have provided. Perhaps you have some other evidence to offer? Or perhaps you should withdraw the charges until you can establish them with some sort of credible evidence.
