Clearly, many Americans have not seen through Bush yet though many others are getting queasy. Too many still have their heads in the sand and think he's an honorable guy who cares about them. Rubbish. As the truth comes out these people are going to start deserting him in droves. Bush could care less about consumers and average working people. It's amazing so many of them still support him. Imagine caring more about Clinton's BJ than Bush-Cheney and cronies gouging the nation for hundreds of billions, stealing the tax refunds and trying to turn our environment into a toxic cesspool. I admit Clinton blew it not keeping his dick in his pants. That was really stupid and shameful. But otherwise he was head over heels above Bush as a world leader, communicator, caring proponent and visionary. The only vision we see from Bush is more pollution, a dominating Cold War attitude, the rich getting richer, the attack on Social Secureity and Medicare, support for his corporate special interests and slacking off at the ranch half the time. Bush isn't even intelligent and hardly charismatic, though I do admit he has an effective basic campaign style when well-scripted which some people see as down to earth but is really just dim, superficial and phony. These people who voted for him will soon realize they are to blame for what is happening (and not happening) now. Though Gore's personal weaknesses and Nader's campaign can be blamed as well. All people need is a brighter alternative to Bush and/or the facts from a Senate investigation into the corruption surrounding the Bush-Cheney energy gougings. Then they will move away from him in great numbers. A little early to predict but I will anyway. Busb will end his one term with some of the lowest ratings of any president in history. He may also be impeached for corruption and lying about it. Cheney will be lucky to last another year, though I don't underestimate the multi-trillion dollar special interest powers he holds in his hand and their ability to obstruct democracy and justice.
