Leigh, I cannot believe that school starts again tomorrow. Where did the summer go??? I had said earlier that I had my kids all ready for school tomorrow. Not quite true. The only reason I am still awake is, because Emily tried on her new school uniform shirts and promptly said...."Mom, do I really have to wear a NEW shirt???" (what child doesn't want to wear the new shirt, even if it is a uniform shirt???) Figuring there must be some reasonable explanation for her not to want to wear the new shirts, I ask why she would not want to wear a new one. Her reply.....'Because Mom, they stink' The new shirts smelled more like new carpeting than they did shirts. I couldn't blame her, I would not have wanted to wear those shirts either. So I am still awake, awaiting for the shirts to be dry and fresh smelling for tomorrow. I had to wash Michael's shirts as well. <time lapse> They are all done now and on hangers, smelling much better than they did "new". I will be up bright and early with them. (well bright and early for me......compared to my still being asleep at umm 10:30ish <wink>)
