I wish the S.SOES orders would just bypass the ECN's. Oh well, can't have everything.

Even if SOES would trade around, the result would be that the first person to hit the SOES button would get the shares by trading around the ecn. Well the way it is now is that the 1st person will be the one to get the shares after the ecn leaves because they are first in the que. It is essentially the same thing with the exception that they can have a shot at the better ecn price if they want it. Unless the ecn is just showing 100 and you have a lot more to sale then I would just hit the ecn bid and be done with it.
