The Bush jaggernaut has just begun. Wait until the Dems start bumping off Hispanic USSC nominations. Wait until Hastert makes them vote down their own minimum wage bill because the capital gains tax cut is welded solidly to it. Those two are also long-term trend builders. There is much more. What happened the last few weeks is just that the White House team proved that they can fight and win (unexpected from modern Republicans, like Trent Lott). The Democratic party of today offers tons of low-hanging fruit...
