These Markets have been in a trading range, and this trend IMO will continue in the near future. But I see down for the S@P, DJU and NDX this week. The U.S. unemployment rate held steady in July, as employers cut fewer jobs than many had expected. However, Friday's report contained few signs that the economy was recovering from a year-long slowdown. The NAPM index on the service side of the economy fell to 48.9 in July from 52.1 in June. Any reading below 50 suggests activity has shrunk in the Services sector, which includes everything from Transportation to Legal and Financial services. The non-manufacturing index also fell below 50 in May and April. What this all means is that the Federal Reserve is still likely to cut interest rates again later this month. I'm still looking at a slow drawn out Chinese water torture decline for the Goldie stocks here. It's the calm before the storm for the Euro and Gold. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrowl!
