Jim, >The Intel faithful seem to be running a disinformation campaign about Athlon stability, heat, .18u really being .13u for AMD, SOI being a mistake and Atiq Raza being the savior etc. etc...

Actually it's rather comical.

As long as Jeremiah Sanders III is in charge at AMD, you can't touch that for comedy.

re: "Actually it's rather comical."

Good thing that you don't own much Intel !!

Of course, dollar-wise, you don't own much AMD these days - do you?

Jim

-The fact is that there have been reports of Athlon instability

-The fact is, that it has been widely reported that Athlon has heat problems.

-The fact is, that what was said that the Poly Gate is at 0.13u, nobody said anything about AMD's 0.18u being 0.13u. We all know that it's not.

-The fact is, if Jerry had listened to Atiq, they would not now have an extra Fab they even they say they don't need, and all that extra money could have gone into their 0.13u and Hammer projects, instead of to the German Bankers.

-The fact is, that people often use comedy to hide fear.

Jim,

re:"Actually it's rather comical"

You would think iNteL would have them all on the same page.

Then again that may be why they are comical............

Who's in charge at iNteL today? Gelsinger, Otellini, Barrett, Andy?
