It is just great watching CNN swallow hard as they talk about how successful Bush is looking. It could be an illusion -- after Clinton, Bush just LOOKS good; but it sure seems that Bush's accomplishments are mounting. One after the other, major victories where they said he'd lose. Yeah, they are really mounting.......layoffs are at the highest level in 9 years, unemployment is growing, ally support is at its lowest level in 50 years, we're planning to resume making lots of new missiles, crime in the cities is increasing significantly for the first time in years, the tax cut pushed thru Congress will probably put the budget in a deficit position for the first time in years, we don't believe the burning of fossil fuels is a problem, it appears that the VP caters to those with significant stock portfolios, and the list goes on and on. On the bright side of the news the gov't is sending us $300 checks to spend like there's no tomorrow, and dubya is in great physical health. Three years, 4 mos. and counting.
