Re: of about 500 Thunder K7’s we sold to date (a combination of S2462NG and S2462UNG), there have been a number of minor issues, and four serious problems. I've seen a problem rate more than 5 times higher than that on Intel SMP systems. 4 serious problems from 500 sales is unbelievably good - I'm skeptical that a platform several years old could be that good, much less a brand new one. In the article, the minor problems are listed as mostly due to jumpers that were set wrong. That rate (4 problems out of 500 systems) is too good to be true.
