Ron, I agree with you.

Bill isn't exactly the "Watergate" Scoop reporter on this. Those who are left know the whole story quite well. We've made our choice and now just await the final outcome. Besides I don't know anyone who is buying up Naxos right now. Just look at the volume...or lack of. I get the feeling Bill has a major ax to grind or that he is working very hard to keep the price down because HE believes they have it figured out and is trying to buy it up at as low a price as possible! Who knows, but I really wonder about someone working so hard to prevent something (buying) that obviously isn't happening.

I believe Jimmy was taking advantage of the Bre-X mania early on. Once he was out and we moved on to Fred Arkoosh and Bob Gardner, I think this took the turn it needed into and area of "OK, if there is anything is that clay, can it be recovered profitably?". It's not far fetched to think that the runnoff from mineral rich mountains would eventually bring some of those minerals into the lakes below. That's what Franklin Lake is and that's why, in my mind it wasn't wild fantasy. Just a long shot.

The examples of the 1 pound battery, etc. can just as easily be countered with, for example, plastic that completely decomposes eliminating the "plastic pollution". People have said for years, there is no way to make plastic so that also decomposes and still has the same performance properties. Well, they now have a plastic with virtually all the same performance features made out of corn...yes, corn. Or how about cars that run on liquid nitrogen and the only "exhaust" is water? Yes, that's also being done. So, "wild" stories do not make the case that when it sounds too good to be true it's always a scam. Are there scams? Of course, but once in a while...

I also agree that all we want now is the facts. It would be great if they could recover 1 opt or even .1 opt of anything that made money. But if after all this, they just can't get anything, well, I'd rather know that for sure now also. We've been so close to "the end" so many times before it's getting almost boring. At this point, let's just get it over with. Either strike a deal and get a partner or whatever to get this off the ground or close the doors.
I've not been a Gregory fan at all. But at least he hasn't hyped as far as I can tell. So if this is a scam, it's about as low key as you can get without being completely silent.

Good luck Ron. Let's hope the wait was worth it, but if this is the end, let's hope the wounds heal fast. If nothing else it's been a learning experience.
