Yeah, the 2nd article about the VCs plopping $$ down on boutique optical gear makers is most interesting. (Anyone know anything about STKR?) I am wondering: Could the pending proposal for Belles to supply DSL be getting ready to pass? (now that they strangled the startups out of the biz by not allowing them free access to their equipment houses as required by law) DSL to the customer and MONs to the businesses is indeed the final, last mile connection which is needed for the subsea to light up capacity. The ORCHESTRATION of this sector may be far, far greater than I suspected, and I am the most suspicious person I ever met.... Martin
