Re: a query on "Athlon MP" results in 99 hits while a query on "Itanium" results in 1 hit - And that's a good thing? LOL!!! I prefaced that comment with the phrase "neither Athlon MP nor Itanic are typical candidates for Pricewatch." OTOH, A query on "SPARC" results in 48 hits. "Silicon Graphics" results in 34 hits (mostly for memory modules). Maybe once some non-beta software is available for Itanium, we'll see vendors actually selling Itanium systems, and customers buying the systems and upgrades for them. Currently the Itanium market apparently consists of Intel and its partners giving systems away for "evaluation."
